Penn Resources
Society of Women Engineers SWE a non-profit service organization aimed at informing the community of the qualifications and achievements of women engineers. SWE focuses on establishing student-corporate relationships, sponsoring community service activities, and organizing social events for female students in engineering.
Penn Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (PGWISE)
Aims to enhance the graduate experience of women in science and engineering and to improve the environment for women pursuing careers in these fields. PGWISE works to assess the concerns and issues of graduate women in science and engineering and create community through monthly programming that focus on networking, personal and career development, issues of women in the workplace, work/life balance, and general well-being.
Penn is a partner of mentornet which pairs industry professionals with students via e-mail. You can even request a Penn alumna if you wish to connect with someone who was an undergraduate or graduate student here.
CISters is an informal group of graduate women in the CIS department. Its main goal is to foster a sense of community among the women, who might not otherwise know each other, due to the program-, area-, and oftimes year-specific nature of our departmental interactions.

GAPSA is the university-wide student government for graduate and professional students at the University of Pennsylvania
The GAPSA Research Student Travel Grant
is available to full-time students who are pursuing a PhD or research MA or MS degrees. Students can apply for individual awards of up to $300 to help defray the costs associated with presenting their research at academic conferences and meetings.

FacultyForTheFuture.org is the only website dedicated to linking a diverse pool of women and under-represented minority candidates from engineering, science, and business with faculty and research positions at universities across the country.
The Faculty For The Future website provides a complete line of services for students (or individuals) searching for academic and research positions, as well as for academic and research institutes looking for qualified candidates to fill various positions. The Resume and Positions databases link candidates looking for positions to institutions looking to fill positions.
