	Co-president: Elizabeth Ramos Major: MEAM Class: 2008 Email: framos@seas.upenn.edu Interest/Hobbies: SHPE, outdoor sports, volleyball, my dog Ava Where I'm From/Ethnicity: Born in NJ, father was Puerto Rican Goals: Graduate and ensure the success of SHPE in the future :) Why I am in SHPE: I'm in SHPE because I love the people. They don't ask questions (too much), they just accept and support you.
	Co-president: Justin Ortiz Major: Computer Science Engineering Class: 2009 Email: ortizjc@seas.upenn.edu Interest/Hobbies: Basketball, soccer, chess, roller coasters, music, computers. Where I'm From/Ethnicity: Half Dominican, half Puerto Rican. Born in NYC, but moved to NJ when I was young. Goals: Finish college and go to graduate school. Be happy and give back to the community. Why I am in SHPE:I'm in SHPE not only to meet other people who share my interests, but to give back to the community and promote Latinos in the professional world. SHPE is a great resource not only in the academic sense, but also allows me to make a difference culturally on campus.
	External VP: Sayan Dobronsky Major: Mechanical Engineering Class: 2008 Email: sayand@seas.upenn.edu Interest/Hobbies: Basketball, soccer, video games, eating. Where I'm From/Ethnicity: My parents were born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Reading, PA. Goals: Become an astronaut (really). Why I am in SHPE: I'm in SHPE because of the wonderful oppurtunities and challenges that are available to me in this group. I'm in SHPE because I want to stay in touch with the Latino community, both local and national, and I love the lasting friendships that I have made.
	Internal VP: Angel Jacome Major: Economics Class: 2008 Email: jacangel@seas.upenn.edu Interest/Hobbies: The Chicago Cubs, baseball and all sports in general, movies, music, long walks, conversing Where I'm From/Ethnicity: Mexican. Born in Mexico City, moved around Mexico until I was three. Raised in Chicago Goals: Complete College and make my parents' sacrifice worth it. To further myself and further Mexicans and Chicanos. Why I am in SHPE: As a Freshman, I got recruited and enjoyed my experience as an Electrical Engineer. However, incidents during the summer made me think about life and lead to a decision to pursue an economic career. However, I greatly enjoyed my experience at SHPE and will continue to be dedicated to it. It is a great resource not only for hispanic engineers but for all students in general. It has a family feel and each member wants to make each other better.

From Yardley, PA. Goals: Do alternative fuel and fuel cell research to ease global energy demands. Why I am in SHPE: SHPE is a great place for networking and meeting other people. It also combines pride in both engineering and Hispanic heritage.

	Webmaster: Daniel Lustig Major: Electrical Engineering Class: 2009 Email: lustigdj@seas.upenn.edu Interest/Hobbies: Crabcakes and Football (and Lacrosse), Terrapins, Quakers, Ravens, Orioles, Guitars, Math, Philadelphia, Spanish, English Where I'm From/Ethnicity: My mom and her family are from Havana. I was born on Long Island, and grew up in Towson, MD. Goals: Have a good time and do well in college. Why I am in SHPE: As a hispanic engineer, SHPE is a great place for me to meet people in the same situation. SHPE also has excellent resources for finding internships and careers.
