We are a co-ed fraternity in the city of brotherly love. We are engineers dedicated to the efficient utilization of our skills. We are citizens who act in good-will with honor and integrity. We are brothers striving to make a positive difference in the world around us. We are the University of Pennsylvania Tau Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau.

Our Theta Tau Chapter is currently the University of Pennsylvania's only professional engineering fraternity. We are looking to unite engineers with a passion for their fields of study and a desire to develop both personally and professionally. Founded in 2005 and installed as a Chapter in March 2008, our goal is to to promote a greater sense of community amongst all the engineers here at Penn by fostering a fellowship where life-lasting bonds can be developed through social, professional and community service activities.

As a social fraternity, our Chapter organizes many social events for both the members themselves and for the Engineering school as a whole. We have promoted dinners, competitions and community service activities.

As a professional organization, our Chapter aims to develop the professional skills of its members through events such as resume building workshops, mock interviews, panels and career fairs.

As an honor society, our Chapter has an obligation to uphold a high standard of academic integrity. However, being a leader and role model is not just about getting straight A's. It is also about extending a hand to neighbors. The Tau Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau at the University of Pennsylvania is heavily involved in the city of Philadelphia and in the world beyond. Members of the Tau Gamma Chapter also constitute members of the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project, Engineers without Borders, the Penn Music Mentoring Program and the Penn Chess Tutoring Club.

A growing co-ed fraternity, the Tau Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau is looking for other passionate and dedicated individuals to join its ranks. This means YOU! If you are interested, please check out our information on rush events. This is your chance to join the nations oldest, and still foremost, Fraternity for Engineers.
