Many Bioengineering students study for a semester
or a whole year abroad. If you consider this enriching experience
take the time to study the universities that have a formal exchange
programs with the School of Engineering (see below). With required
prior academic and official approval, students may plan other
study abroad programs. The Department of Bioengineering assigns
an advisor to all students studying abroad. Students considering
study abroad should contact professor Daniel
Bogen for approval of the academic aspects of their curriculum.
For other approvals and all logistical aspects of study abroad,
students must contact the Engineering Academic Programs Office
and Penn's Office of
International Programs.
