Department held its first annual picnic for faculty, staff,
undergraduate, and graduate students. The weather was perfect and although the lines were long--
--the food was well

PENN ALUM SPEAKS
TO STUDENTS ABOUT CAREERS IN FDA
Ken Cavanaugh, an alum of Penn’s Bioengineering
Ph.D. program, came to speak to current undergraduate and
graduate students about internships and full-time employment
opportunities at the FDA. Ken works in the Cardiovascular Device Evaluation
Department, which makes sure cardiovascular devices are safe
and effective before they are marketed. For more information
