to theChemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department
at the University of Pennsylvania. We are the country's oldest continuously
operating degree-granting program in Chemical Engineering and since
our inception in 1893 we have been at the forefront of defining the
frontiers of the field. We are very proud of our educational programs
at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and are committed to
preparing our students for leadership roles in the bio, chemical,
pharmaceutical, and electronics industries. The department is currently
made up of 20 distinguished faculty who maintain research programs
in a wide range of areas including, biomolecular engineering, catalysis
and reaction engineering, systems engineering, surface and colloid
science, among others. We welcome your inquiries regarding our eduation and research programs.
