Bruce continues to work full time at DuPont, where he started his professional career in 1980. After assignments in R&D and manufacturing, he has spent most of his career in corporate engineering. He has collaborated with R&D and technical organizations in most of DuPont's businesses on commercializing new technology and new products, and improving existing operations. He has advanced in the technical ladder at DuPont and is currently a Principal Consultant. He is a co-inventor on 5 U.S. process patents in biofuels. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Delaware. Bruce has taught a three-day course in Economic Evaluations at DuPont since 1985 to over 2000 employees. He developed and taught a similar course several times for the Engineering Outreach program at the University of Delaware. He has been a guest speaker for undergraduate courses at the University of Pennsylvania and Rowan University. He has been an Industrial Consultant for the CBE 459 senior design course at the University of Pennsylvania since 1994, and was appointed as an Adjunct Professor of Chemical Engineering in 2016.
