2008 - 2009 Graduate Tuition Rates & Fees*

1 Credit Unit = $4,776 ($4,450 Tuition + $250 General Fee + $76 Technology Fee)

2 Credit Units = $9,552 ($4,450 Tuition x 2 + $500 General Fee + $152 Technology Fee)

3 Credit Units = $14,328 ($4,450 Tuition x 3 + $750 General Fee + $228 Technology Fee)

4 Credit Units = $18,778 ($4,450 Tuition x 4 + $750 General Fee + $228 Technology Fee)

5 Credit Units = $23,228 ($4,450 Tuition x 5 + $750 General Fee + $228 Technology Fee)

6 Credit Units = $27,678 ($4,450 Tuition x 6 + $750 General Fee + $228 Technology Fee)

NOTE: The tuition rate for master degree candidates will be charged per the number of courses registered. The maximum number of courses that you will be allowed to register per semester will be four. Additional courses may be requested by petition for action submitted to your department for approval, overall GPA will be considered.

Ph.D. candidates are required to register for four course units each Fall and Spring semester.  Please see Graduate Student Budget below for further detail.

General Fee - The general fee is a partial contribution towards the support of the Placement Service, Graduate Student Activites, Recreational Activities, the physical development of the University, and other services not directly associated with specific courses. The maximum that will be charged each semester is $750.

Technology Fee - The Technology Fee helps to underwrite the various computer resources for the School of Engineering including computer labs, provided software, web-based email, and other related costs. The maximum that will be charged each semester is $228.
