Admissions
The Telecommunications and Networking program is looking for students
with the following prerequisites:
- An engineering, physical science, or mathematics degree from
an accredited undergraduate program. Other degrees will be considered.
- Strong academic achievement. We require one official transcript
from each academic institution attended for more than one term.
- A score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a
score of at least 600/250 is required from international candidates whose
native language is not English. This requirement may be
waived only if, at the time of application, the candidate has
completed three years of English-medium full-time academic
work at the university level. Documentation from the pertinent
institution(s) must be provided.
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are required for applicants
to the Telecommunications and Networking Program.
- A minimum of two letters of recommendation, at least one of which should be
from a current or former instructor. Recommendations must be sent electronically
or printed on SEAS recommendation forms; further instructions are within the electronic application.
Deadlines
Application materials must be received by 1 November for Spring
entry (1 October for international applicants) or 1 June for Fall entry (1 May for international applicants).
The TCOM program also accepts applications for Summer entry; all applications for Summer entry must be
received by 1 March regardless of country of origin.
