Voices of Experience: From Wall Street to the DoD
Beyond models and theories, EMTM students hear from successful leaders whose careers have involved the
sophisticated use and management of technology in widely different contexts. Among those who shared candid
perspectives and advice this Fall:
On Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12, Clare Hart, President and CEO of Factiva,
shared insights and experiences from her own career and current position leading a Dow Jones & Reuters company that
provides content, technology and services to the investment community; and
Gary Martin, EMTM'95, Technical Director of the US Army's CERDEC, Communications-Electronics, Research Development and Engineering Center,
discussed "Leveraging Army/DoD Technologies for Homeland Security/Defense.
