Executive Master's in Technology Management Program

The Executive Master's in Technology Management (EMTM) program is designed for candidates who operate at the intersection of technology and business—those who need to keep up with technology that is constantly changing and who want the business insights to translate technological innovation into commercial success.

EMTM offers one of the largest course selections available at this level of study, spanning multiple technologies (including IT, Telecommunications, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and others) as well as leading-edge business courses in areas such as Finance, Strategy, Innovation/Entrepreneurship and Leadership. The program was first established in 1988.

EMTM provides technologists with the tools, language and framework to better understand the business drivers of their enterprises, while at the same time enabling business practitioners and consultants to become better versed in the underlying technologies on which their current and future businesses are based. An optional global experience enriches the program and provides additional perspectives.

The student body represents experienced managers, IT professionals and engineers from technology sector organizations like HP, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, IBM, Intel and SAP, as well as firms from the financial services, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods and other arenas, including Vanguard, SEI, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, GSK, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pfizer, Campbell Soup and W.L. Gore.
