member who has research funding to support such a position.

Important Announcement
The University of Pennsylvania Postdoctoral Insurance Plan Open Enrollment will take place from November 12th through November 26th. During this time, Postdocs can make changes to their current enrollment status that would be effective as of January 1st, 2008. Available changes during this time include:
* enroll themselves or eligible dependents for whom coverage was previously waived; and
* switch from the HMO to a PPO plan for either medical or dental coverage.
Representatives from Garnett-Powers & Associates will be on campus November 12th and 15th to answer all questions and present plan changes.

EPOD
The charter of the EPOD
(Engineering POst Doc) Association was founded in 2005 to
foster support and communication within the postdoctoral fellow
community at SEAS and act as a liaison to the Deputy Dean’s
office. Its governing body consists of two co-chairs (currently
Dana Pirone and Julia Hockenmaier).

- There, you will receive our starter SEAS Postdoc Orientation

tell you when it is okay to get your Penn Card & set up
your PennKey at the PennCard
Center. After you receive your PennCard, you should then
create a SEAS email account with our CETS office.
