Skirkanich Hall
Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects
Skirkanich Hall was designed by the New York firm of Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, with Philip Ryan as Project Architect. The husband-and-wife team has received the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award and the Thomas Jefferson Medal in Architecture, among other honors. The firm’s other projects include the Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla (AIA National Honor Award), the Natatorium at the Cranbrook Academy (AIA National Honor Award), and the American Folk Art Museum (AIA National Honor Award; NYC Municipal Arts Society Masterwork Award; Arup World Architecture Award: Best Building in the World).
