Make the most of your summer! The School of Engineering and Applied Science offers summer classes for undergraduates, graduate students, international undergraduates, and high school students. Check out the links below for more information.

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Engineering Summer School (ESS)

Engineering Summer School offers courses from the regular course catalog during Summer Sessions I and II. Penn students as well as any undergraduate in good academic standing at another university are welcome to enroll. Students graduating from high school in June are eligible to enroll in Summer Session II in the summer following their graduation, especially those who are matriculating into Penn in the following fall semester. It's a great way to get a head start in your university education!

Summer Institute in Business and Technology (SIBT)

The Summer Institute in Business and Technology (SIBT) provides an exceptional learning opportunity for globally-minded undergraduates enrolled full-time in universities abroad, as well as in the US. SIBT offers an intense academic experience in business and technology, along with a cultural immersion experience for international students. The Wharton School of business at Penn co-sponsors SIBT with Penn Engineering.
