Course Category Lists

The course requirements for the BSE and BAS degrees are expressed in terms of the following six course categories: Mathematics (M), Natural Science (S), Engineering (E), Social Science and Humanities (SSH), Technical Electives (T) (or Concentration on the BAS CPG), Technology in Business and Society, and Free Electives (F). The courses which constitute the Technical Electives (T) category vary from curriculum to curriculum and are listed on the CPG. The courses which are included in each of the remaining categories, as well as the courses for which No Credit (NC) is given, are listed on the following pages.

General honors courses are included in the same category as their equivalent departmental listing.
