Undergraduate Programs > Academic Advising System > Faculty Advisors

Faculty Advisors

The academic advising system at Penn Engineering is primarily based on a one-to-one association between students and professors. Each student is assigned a Faculty Advisor. Your Faculty Advisor will guide you in the selection of courses in your major (including the appropriate math and science courses) and in helping you understand more about the various fields of engineering, including the one in which you are declared. The undergraduate assistant in each of our departments will be able to give you the name of your faculty advisor, as well as advise how best to reach him or her.
