Study at Bryn Mawr, Haverford and Swarthmore
Penn students have the unique opportunity to study at Bryn
Mawr, Haverford or Swarthmore College during the fall and
spring terms of the academic year. The four schools comprise
the Quaker Consortium and have a reciprocal agreement for
tuition and the granting of grades and credits for work
completed at any one of the participating institutions.
Penn students wishing to attend a course or courses at
Bryn Mawr, Haverford or Swarthmore should make an appointment
to meet with Mr. Joseph Sun in the Office of Academic Programs,
111 Towne. Students will need a letter of permission and
must have the chosen course(s) approved by the equivalent
Penn department.
At the end of the semester, students should request that
a transcript be forwarded to the Office of Academic Programs.
Upon receipt of the transcript and the proper credit forms,
your courses and grades are entered onto the body of the
Penn transcript, and the grades are calculated into the
Penn g.p.a.
Consortium agreements do not apply to summer school, which
is treated as credit away.
You may search course offerings at Bryn Mawr, Haverford
or Swarthmore using the TriCollege
Course Guide.
