Albert Giandomenico Award

The Bioengineering Senior Design Award, initiated by the Bioengineering

application of engineering principles to the solution of a biomedical
problem.

The Herman P. Schwan Award was established by the faculty of the
Department of Bioengineering as an enduring tribute to their colleague
and friend in honor and recognition of his outstanding achievements
in Bioengineering and in commemoration of the receipt of his honorary
Doctor of Science degree in 1986 from the University. This award
is given each year to a graduating senior who, in the opinion of
the faculty, has demonstrated the highest standards of scholarship
and academic achievement.

Guy Labonte Memorial Award
The Center for Human Modeling and Simulation of the University of
Pennsylvania has established a memorial to Guy Labonte to remember
him and his achievements in the School of Engineering and Applied
Science. The "Guy Labonte Memorial Award for a Computer Graphics

R. M. Brick Award
The R. M. Brick Award is named for the first chairman of the Department
