Computer and Cognitive Science Program
Dual Degree Program in Computer and Cognitive Science
In this program the students may earn two degrees: a Bachelor
of Arts (BA) in Psychology,
Philosophy,
Mathematics,
Biological Basis of Behaviour or Linguistics
from the College of Arts and Sciences, and either a Bachelor
of Applied Science (BAS) in Computer
and Cognitive Science or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
(BSE) in Computer Science and Engineering from the School
of Engineering and Applied Science.
The dual degree program in Computer and Cognitive Science is guided by the belief that a disciplines. Requirements for the program are guided by the degree sought (BAS or BSE), and include 12-16 cu in Linguistics, Mathematics, Philosophy or Psychology and 4 cu in a Foreign Language. Since the College and Engineering degree requirements overlap to some extent, students typically take 40 cu total for the dual degree with BAS and 46 cu total for the option with BSE.
