Undergraduate Student Handbook

Readmission

Readmission is not automatic. A student who has been dropped may be considered for readmission upon recommendation by the Academic Performance Committee. Applications for readmission are rarely considered earlier than one year to eighteen months after the student has been dropped. In order to be considered, the former student should submit to the Academic Programs Office a letter stating reasons for seeking readmission and for believing she or he can maintain a satisfactory record. The former student should also submit several letters of recommendation from people who observed the candidate while she or he was away from school. If the former student has taken courses at another institution, a transcript should be submitted.
