In memory of
FREDERICK D. KETTERER
C'54, GEE'60
 Forged
during his undergraduate and graduate years as a student and
sustained throughout his years of teaching, Professor Frederick
Ketterer's bond with Penn Engineering was strong and enduring.
His gifts as a teacher inspired his peers and endeared him
to his students, and it was known to all that he had a great
love of his profession. He was a trusted mentor and a dedicated
scholar of Electrical Engineering and is remembered with respect
and affection.
We have honored Professor Ketterer's exceptional abilities
as a teacher and mentor by establishing the "Frederick D.
Ketterer Memorial Fund for Senior Design Projects in Electrical
Engineering," and have paid tribute to his scholarship and
research by dedicating a laboratory in his name. He is missed
by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.
