Lockheed Martin Makes Gift to Penn Engineering

Data Systems , and Carol Marshall, Principal Recruiting Specialist,
Lockheed Martin present Dean Eduardo Glandt, GCH'75, GR'77
and Cora Ingrum, Assistant to the Dean for Minority Programs,
with a grant for $116,000 to be used to build an advanced
computer laboratory as well as to provide scholarships for
minority students in computer science. They are joined by
Vijay Kumar, Deputy Dean, and Jeffrey Pridmore, GREE'85, Lockheed

laboratory, which will house research in virtual environments,
human simulation and modeling, natural language programming,
will be a part of the new Melvin Levine and Claire Levine
Hall for Computer Science.
