Farber Featured Speaker at Alumni Program "Penn on the Road"

Alumni, parents and friends are invited to attend "The Electronic Frontier: Technology, Business Development and Regulatory Policy" on Thursday, December 7, at the Decathlon Club, 3250 Central Expressway, in Santa Clara, California. The presentation will feature David J. Farber, Alfred Fitler Moore Professor of Telecommunications Systems, who presently serves as Chief Technologist for the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. The lecture will be preceded by a Planned Giving Session from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception. Penn Engineering Dean Eduardo Glandt, GCH'75, GR'77, and Andrew S. Rachleff, W'80, General Partner of Benchmark Capital and a member of the Engineering School's Board of Overseers will be on hand to introduce Dr. Farber.

"Penn on the Road" is an ongoing series of programs for Penn alumni, parents and friends on topics related to Agenda for Excellence, the University of Pennsylvania's strategic plan for the 21st century.
