Comparison of Chicken Skin Deformation for Different
Suture Densities
Name: Albert Kong
Class: BE 210
Hypothesis
The
deformation at the rupture point of the suture of the chicken skin will be
significantly different at a suture density of 6 stitches/inch than at a suture
density of 3 stitches/inch.
Objectives:
To measure the deformation of the
chicken skin samples when applying axial strain on the instron.
To compare the skin deformations of the two sample sets differing in suture density and to statistically quantify the comparison through t-testing.
