Teaching Laboratory

SKH225 Interior

The Teaching Laboratory, located in 225 Skirkanich Hall, is designed for both 'wet' and 'dry' experiments. Students conduct experiments ranging from building circuits to the genetic modifications of cells.

The lab is made up of 16 stations (for up to four students per station), all equipped with computers and data acquisition equipment. The lab is specifically designed for self-discovery, rather than traditional lecture-based learning. A state of the art A/V system allows instructors to project an experiment demonstration, such as a dissection, so that it can be viewed by an entire class.
