Atomic polarization on ferroelectric surfaces
To realize the potential inherent in nanodevices, methods of assembling a wide range of dissimilar elements, connecting the resulting complex structures, and integrating them into systems must be developed.
This study combines the chemical specificity of ferroelectric domains and the ability to manipulate domain orientation at nanometer length scales to produce complex multi- component structures with functional properties.
