CIS 110, Fall 2009
Introduction to Computer Programming, with Java
CIS110 is an introductory level class for those with no experience in programming. In this course you learn how to solve real-world problems computationally as well as the core concepts of programming. We start slowly, but by the end of the course you will be able "think algorithmically" and write complex programs.

| We do a lot of small group work in the labs because we believe that working with others makes the learning process fun and effective. | It's also important to work on problems alone. Although tests are done strictly alone, we offer plenty of help with the homework in terms of office hours, an online bulletin board, and a very friendly staff! | By the time you finish this class, you won't believe how much you can do! |
