The course will focus on group-theoretical methods in visual
perception. The class will start with an introduction to Lie groups
and continue with examples of a group-theoretical characterization of
several well known vision problems. After studying the group structure
of these problems, we will proceed with harmonic analysis on groups
and homogeneous spaces.
