Multiscale modeling of platelet aggregation under various conditions
I am working on building a model that describes the motion and reaction of platelets in a blood vessel. The model solves the flow field of the blood flow using Lattice Bolzmann method and characterizes the activation and binding using lattice Kinetic Monte Carlo and neural network model. The series of reactions in the coagulation cascade are solved using Finite Element with adaptive meshing scheme that tries to predict individually how patients will react under various physiological conditions.
