Building Updates

Electric Team
Our basic setups involving numerous PIC Microcontrollers and our Mac Mini project have been immensely successful. We have
begun to build the necessary systems for our blinkers, battery protection, dash board, and motor-controller interfaces. Despite present leaving soon,
both team leaders Rob and Nadya are working many hours every day with the rest of the team to make sure they are able to run the project once they
leave, and to help things progress smoothly.

Mechanical Team
Chassis construction is well under way. With more than 300 feet of steel to bend, shape, mold, and weld there is alot of work
to do, especially with very few team members familiar with welding. In spite of the large obstacles facing this team hopes are high and progress is
being made. At any given time of the day, with few exceptions, somebody is on the welder hard at work to make sure the car is sturdy and strong. Team
leaders Alex Rattner and Hans Blatt especially, with help from Team Captain Hal Paver, have been working non-stop to make the project a success.
