Mohammad Fereydounian (September 2017-present): Mohammad has two B. Sc. degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering as well as a M. Sc. Degree in Mathematics, all from from Sharif University of Technology, Iran.

Alexander Robey (Summer 2018-present): Alex has a B. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering as well as a B. A. degree in Mathematics from the Swarthmore College, PA.

Arman Adibi (September 2018-present): Arman has a B. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (with a minor in Mathematics) from Isfahan Institute of Technology, Iran. He won the third prize from the 24th Internatial Mathematics Competition (IMC).

Eric Lei (September 2020-present): Eric obtained his B. Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cornell University, USA.

Xinmeng Huang (September 2020-present): Xinmeng obtained his B. Sc. in Mathematics (with distinction) from the University of Science and Technology, China.

Donghwan Lee (September 2020-present): Donghwan obtained his B. Sc. in Mathematics (with distinction) from the Seoul National University, South Korea. He has a gold medal from South Korean National Mathematics Olympiad.

Behrad Moniri (September 2021-present): Behrad obtained his B. Sc. in EE (with distinction) from the Sharif University of Technology.

Sima Noorani (September 2022-present): Sima obtained her B. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University with highest honors.

Shayan Kiyani (September 2022-present): Shayan obtained his B. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology. He has a gold medal from the Iranian National Mathematics Olympiad.

Mahdi Sabbaghi (September 2022-present): Mahdi obtained a B. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering as well as a B. Sc. degree in Physucs from the Sharif University of Technology. He has a gold medal from the International Physics Olympiad.

Past members

Dr. Aritra Mitra (August 2020-22): Aritra obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, USA. After his postdoc at Penn, he has joint the Naorth Carolina State University as an assistant professor.

Jorge Barreras (September 2017-22): Jorge has two B. Sc. degrees in Mathematics and Economics as well as a M. Sc. Degree in Economics, all from from Los Andes University, Colombia. He won a bronze medal from the 2009 International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). After finishing his PhD studies at Penn, he is now a postdoc at Penn (wit Duncan Watts and myself).

Dr. Zebang Shen (September 2019-22): Zebang obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Zhejiang University, China. After his post-doc at Penn, he has joined ETH Zurich as a research scientist.
