Ira Winston

I am the Executive Director of Computing and Educational Technology Services for the School of Engineering and Applied Science, School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania.

My two big projects this year are leading the facilities planning effort for a new Nanotechnology Building and leading an effort to outsource student email known as Google@SAS .

I'm married to Flaura, who is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Penn. We live in Narberth, Pennsylvania and have two sons, Zachary, who recently graduated from Penn State, and Andrew, who is in 12th grade at Jack Barrack Hebrew Academy and heading to the College of Arts and Sciences at Penn in the Fall.
