The Biosecurity Conference, Co-located with BIO, May 5-6 2010
We were honored to have had the opportunity to support the Biosecurity Conference co-located with the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) 2010 International Convention held May 3-6 in Chicago, Illinois. Organized by the Partnership for Global Security (PGS) and ISTAR in cooperation with BIO, the Biosecurity Conference represented a unique opportunity to address biosecurity issues at the BIO International Convention, which averages 15,000-17,000 attendees each year. We were fortunate to have had these special guests who represent both the government and private sectors relevant to biosecurity: Nicole Lurie, Margaret Hamburg, Tara O'Toole, Laura Holgate, Rajeev Venkayya, Mark Smolinski, Dennis Carroll, Phillips Dormitzer, Ray Arthur, Thomas Thornton, Cyril Gay, James Roth, David Wright, Paul Chaplin, Julie Gerberding, Robert Kadlec, Michael Kurilla, James Gilman, Randall Larsen, Patrick Scannon, Gerald Epstein, Robert Hooks, Michael Firko, Hamilton Mixon, John Nash, Rob Weyant, Joe Kanabrocki, and last but not least James C.
