My research interests lie in various aspects of the control and modeling of complex uncertain dynamical systems.
I am interested in the following broad and intersecting areas:
- Control theory: in particular stochastic optimal control, approximate dynamic programming and learning.
- Control of queueing networks and distributed systems.
- Hybrid and Discrete Event Systems. Links with formal methods in computer science.
I am currently particularly interested in the following applications:
- Control of autonomous/automated robotic networks (Unmanned Vehicle Systems).
- Air traffic control.
- Certification of hybrid systems, in particular for aerospace applications.
Other applications of interest include the control of MEMS arrays, power networks, biological networks, etc.
Current main project:
Heterogeneous Unmanned Networked Teams (HUNT)
Past project:
Cooperative Networked Control of Dynamical Peer-to-Peer Vehicle Systems
