Single-Molecule Fluorescence Polarization of Myosin Ic:
Using total internal reflection microscopy, the angle of
the one-headed myosin's lever arm is determined. A
bifunctional rhodamine fluorophore is used to label one
of the three calmodulin light-chains. Out current work
is focused on determining the angle change upon
binding/releasing adenosine diphosphate (ADP). |
