Matthew Turpin

About Me

I am a fifth year Mechanical Engineering PhD student in the GRASP lab at the University of Pennsylvania studying with Vijay Kumar and Nathan Michael.

I was fortunate enough to be awarded a National Science Foundation graduate research fellowship.

I am interested in multiple robot systems, task assignment, leader follower behavior, control of highly dynamic robots, and novel manipulation.

I studied vibratory manipulation with Kevin Lynch and received my BS from Northwestern University in Mechanical Engineering in June of 2009.
