Announcements regarding the status of the Facility, training requirements, etc are sent to the general mailing list: email@example.com. Users are added to this mailing list after they submit the New User Form.
Each major piece of equipment has its own mailing list. Those lists are used for status updates, to report problems, and to communicate with other authorized users. The list name follows the format [eq_name]@lists.seas.upenn.edu, where [eq_name] is the name used in the reservation system. Users are added to individual equipment mailing lists after being trained/qualified by the tool managers.
