Nathan Keim

I’m currently a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania in Paulo Arratia’s group, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. My research spans many topics in fluid dynamics and soft matter, including out-of-equilibrium disordered materials, interfacial phenomena, polymeric fluids, and dynamical singularities. I received my doctorate in physics in 2010 from the University of Chicago, where my advisor was Sidney Nagel. I graduated from Haverford College in 2004. Before that, I attended Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where I grew up.
