Nicholas H. McGill

Mechanical, Electrical, & Robotics Engineer

I’m in my fifth year at the University of Pennsylvania studying Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and pursuing a Masters in Robotics. I’ll be graduating in May 2014.

This past summer, I worked on engineering projects at the industry-leading 3D printer company, Makerbot Industries, in Brooklyn, NY. Last year, my senior design team developed the Titan Arm, a powered upper body exoskeleton for use in physical therapy and occupational lifting application.

I’m fascinated by the cutting edge of medical devices and my technical interests include embedded systems, mechanical design, and programming. Outside of school, I enjoy playing music, taking photos, and playing sports.
