As an undergraduate student, I have worked on Computer Vision and Embedded Systems. In Vision, I have worked on Face Recognition for Activity Analysis and Template Matching. As a senior undergraduate, I interned at Computer Vision Center, Barcelona, SPAIN. In my undergraduate thesis, I implemented a two level security system based on face and speech authentication. Dr.(Mrs.) Neena Gupta was my undergraduate advisor. Besides Vision, I have worked on designing Embedded Systems based on ATMEL AVR Microccontrollers, details of which can be found in Projects section. Most of the work on Emebedded Systems was done when I was a junior undergrad. As a graduate student I plan to work on applying Machine Learning methods to problems in Computer Vision, particularly Face recognition and Human Activity Analysis.
