AMVC 50 - American Material Culture

This class is being taught by Tim Wood. Here is the description from the course register:

050. American Material Culture. (C) Gen Req II: May be counted towards
the General Requirement in History & Tradition. K. Murphey.
The course will involve a cultural analysis of a selection of the
material products of modern American society. How and why have such
things as the house, chair, automobile, clothing and disposable products
evolved and what meanings do they carry for our society?

The class now has a home page. I wrote about a trip to the Vietnam Veterians Memorial in Washington DC.

Next, I wrote about Mares Stellfox, a lady racecar driver.
