Consultants' Guide
Welcome
Welcome to Computing and Educational Technology Services (CETS) at Penn Engineering.
CETS manages computer-based technology for SEAS faculty, students and staff by providing
service for SEAS owned computers, networking (including wireless), LINUX and WINDOWS,
software, electronic mail, and computer labs. As an employee of CETS your primary
responsibility is “to assist in providing computing support and information to the faculty,
staff and students of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of
Pennsylvania.” Specific tasks and services performed by our consultants are outlined in
this guide. In addition, helpful information concerning payroll and scheduling is also presented.
If should have any questions, concerns or suggestions, I welcome your visits to my office in CETS,
room 169 Levine. You may also send me electronic mail, tonya@seas or call me at 898-4708.
Together, we can make sure your experience with CETS is exciting, challenging, educational, and
most of all enjoyable.
Good luck with your studies this semester. I look forward to combining our efforts to keep the
labs and Help Desks operating smoothly.
