ROBIN HAVENER

I just graduated from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania with a BSE in Materials Science and Engineering. I'm looking forward to attending graduate school in the fall in the department of Applied and Engineering Physics at Cornell University to research an exciting, but as-of-yet undetermined, topic in electronic materials.

During my time as an undergraduate, I have worked on several research projects, including:

Some of the more interesting classes I've taken at Penn (links/descriptions to come):

Principles of Microfabrication Technology (ESE 460) • Introduction to Quantum Mechanics I & II (PHYS 411/412) • Topics in Statistics Physics (MSE 475) • Introduction to Condensed Matter Physics (PHYS 518) • Nanoscale Science and Engineering (ESE 525) • Computational Materials Science (MSE 460) • Engineering Entrepreneurship (EAS 445) • Figure Drawing I & II (FNAR 280/281)

A bit of background: I grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, a small town just north of Boston. I attended high school at The Governor's Academy (formerly Governor Dummer Academy), located in Byfield, Massachusetts, an even smaller town that's even further north of Boston. I am currently living in Philadelphia.
