POSTDOC POSITION AVALABLE

Available immediately (from April 2008) a postdoc position in the area of
Nanowire Phase Change Memory.

Funded by NSF, the project would involve studying nanoscale
phase transitions in confined geometries. Using chemical composition and
size-controlled nanowires, structural phase transitions will be
studied to understand the effect of nanoscaling on switching
properties. The scope of this project involves nanowire growth,
characterization, device fabrication, electrical measurements
and theory/simulations. Please see our papers in this area to
get an idea.

Candidates with PhD in any area of science and engineering
can apply. However, people with a strong background in
phase change devices will be preferred.

Please contact via email (riteshag@seas.upenn.edu) with a copy
of your resume.
