» Welcome...quack!

Has anyone ever told you that you need to "get your ducks in a row"? If so, play this spin on the classic game of Connect Four and prove that you can get your ducks aligned faster than anyone!

How to play:

  1. Hover and click your mouse over the column in which you'd like to drop a duck.
  2. The ducks will fall into the lowest unoccupied spot.
  3. The ducks can form a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  4. The first player to get four (or more) ducks in a row wins!

  1. I made and changed the images for the game pieces.
  2. Difficulty: 9. There was not enough guidance in learning an entirely new language and I wish we had more time to complete it. I could not devote all of my time during finals week to writing Javascript.
  3. Enjoyability: 5. The HTML and CSS was fun. The Javascript was too rushed though.
  4. Usefulness: 8. I learned a fair amount of Javascript and believe I am now very proficient in HTML and CSS.
  5. HTML: Much less time, CSS: Same amount, Javascript: Much, much more time.
  6. Javascript
  7. Office hours were sufficient and also necessary to attend to complete this project. There was little to no content in lectures or guidance in the instructions.
  8. This project. With a few time/content adjustments it would be a perfect cap to this course.
  9. More guidance in the instructions with Javascript. There was too much trial and error and it took many hours.
  10. "I've connected 101 dots before, 4 isn't so bad."
