Welcome to my homepage.
My most favorite activity these days is Computer Vision research. I am interested in making robots more intelligent by enabling them to better understand what they see.
News! Our paper, "Single Image 3D Object Detection and Pose Estimation for Grasping" has been accepted for presentation at the 2014 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation.
I am a graduate student in the Robotics Masters' program at the University of Pennsylvania, where I also help with Computer Vision research at the General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception Laboratory.
When I am not working on robots I usually like to cozy up in a sunny corner of my apartment and read history or espionage stories. I also delight in travel when time and monetary conditions permit, and in running. Recently I have also taken up skateboarding.
