About Me

I am Sulekha Kulkarni, a fourth-year PhD student of Computer Science at UPenn, advised by Prof. Mayur Naik. I completed my master's degree by research, at the Indian Institute of Science. This was in Formal Languages and Automata Theory under the guidance of Prof. Priti Shankar. Then followed a long stint in the software industry. Both my work and research experiences have made me very interested in tackling problems in the area of Program Analysis. My thoughts on research echo the quote by R Buckminster Fuller: When I am working on a problem I never think about beauty. I think only how to solve the problem. But, when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.
