I will be graduating in the Spring of 2012 and I am looking for industry and reasearch jobs.
Here is my CV.
I am a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania, at the Department of Computer and Information Science in the Database Group.
My advisors are Zachary Ives and Sudipto Guha, both of whom are now tenured professors.
My interests include query processing and data integration in distributed systems and wireless sensor networks.
As of lately I have looked at ways to execute recursive relational queries with user-defined code which can compute distributed algorithms like Page Rank, transitive closures, clustering, and many others.
We can do all of the things Map-Reduce can do, but much faster (and equally reliable).
Before joining Penn in 2005, I received my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from
Polytechnic University (which eventually merged with NYU and is now called NYU Poly)
where I was involved with the Web Exploration and Search Technology Lab under the supervision of Tosten Suel.
I spent the summer of 2005 working at NEC Labs America and the summer of 2010 at Google doing interships.
