There are many opportunities for involvement with the University of Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.
Our annual sponsored event is the Corporate Dinner, held in February during E-Week (National Engineers Week). It is the largest event put together by an engineering student group on campus with nearly 200 participants last year. The dinner gives students the opportunity to sit down with a corporate representative and get an accurate understanding of the company. The students who are not seated with your company’s representative can approach for conversation during the reception hours. Sponsorship for the dinner starts at about $1000.
Our other annual event is a Research Poster Competition. It is typically held a week before the Corporate Dinner, and we ask for a company representative to act as a judge. The results of the competition are announced at the dinner. We also hold events such as speakers, tours, and meet-and-greets. These events are set up based on company specifications.
