	WANTED: poster session coordinator for ICFP'98
	~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The International Conference on Functional Programming 1998 is seeking
a coordinator for a poster session, ideally a current research student.

The poster session is aimed primarily at research students.  Contributing
to a poster session offers an alternative route to a discussion of on-going
research with conference participants: 

  - student posters will be displayed in a public forum
  - ... and students will get feedback about it
  - the one-page poster abstracts will appear in the conference proceedings
  - having a poster may make it easier to obtain funding to attend the
    conference. 

ICFP'98 is now seeking a coordinator for a poster session at ICFP'98.  It
is not an onerous task.  But someone has to volunteer!  Anyone can
volunteer, though a current research student would be best.
